So, The Met Gala was last week, and I don’t know what to think. I loved the theme this year of punk rock, because it’s such a hard edge theme with the elegance of the gowns there was a beautiful balance. I think my favorite dresses were Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lawrence, and Blake Lively. The three of them really stood out to me.
There were definitely elements of other dresses that I loved. The back of Dakota Fanning’s dress was stunning, and a great motif of wings. The details on Beyonce’s dress were phenomenal. The red and yellow Baroque print looks amazing and pops a lot against the black of the rest of the dress.
Of course there were a few misses on the red carpet. My big one was Kristen Stewart. That jumpsuit was just not my taste to a punk themed event, and I didn’t think it was very flattering.
